Job Summary:

The Applications Engineer is responsible for the overall technical development and implementation for Agru Americas product lines. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Assists manufacturing with process improvements, trials, troubleshooting, and expansion projects.
• Assist manufacturing and Technical Product managers with R&D of new product lines.
• Provide technical/engineering support to clients and other business units.
• Attend technical conferences to understand industry trends and client needs.
• Travel with technical staff or sales group members to clients and industry events to provide technical assistance and promote Agru technologies.
• Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High attention to detail, proactive, strong problem solving.
• Must have computer skills including MS Office, AutoCAD, Solid works, and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Self-motivated, professional, interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills a must.
• Must be willing to travel 20% of the time as required.

Education and Experience:

• Completed at least a Bachelor Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering or in similar role.
