Responsibilities

· Manages daily shipping and distribution

· Structures and coordinates the daily workload for the entire shipping department to ensure that all scheduled incoming and outgoing shipments meet their appropriate deadlines. Assists shipping team when needed with any tasks to ensure that deadlines are met and shipments are sent out according to schedule.

Qualifications

· A successful shipping supervisor is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication.

· They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

· Strong organizational skills

· High attention to detail

· High School diploma / GED, required

· Bachelor’s in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a plus

· 2-5 years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving
