THE ROLE

At theCut, our crazy growth has been fueled by word of mouth. A dope app and our social media presence have been key in building our community. We’re looking for a Customer Activation Specialist who will own a key role on our team. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success team, engaging with Barbers new to our platform. Educating them on our product, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a successful onboarding experience.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to assess their potential value.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor messaging to demonstrate product fit.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
  • Nurture leads through the sales funnel by providing relevant information and resources.
  • Conduct product demos or onboarding calls to drive conversion.
  • Overcome objections and guide leads toward making a purchasing decision.
  • Guide new customers through the activation process to maximize engagement.
  • Provide personalized onboarding experiences to ensure product adoption.
  • Track and analyze activation metrics to identify potential drop-off points.
  • Work closely with the customer success team to facilitate long-term retention.
  • Collect insights from customer interactions and share them with marketing, product, and sales teams.
  • A/B test messaging and outreach strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Suggest improvements to lead qualification processes and activation workflows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer success, or growth-related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills required
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and outreach platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking and analyzing conversion metrics.
  • Comfortable with change, uncertainty and charting new territory.
  • Ability to handle objections and effectively communicate value propositions.
