Interested in closing sales and driving the growth of a fast-paced start-up, redefining how Africans teach and learn?

At TopSet, we ignite cultural pride and economic empowerment through African language learning. We transform native speakers in Africa into world-class educators and connect them to paying adult and child learners worldwide.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Successfully closing sales leads for Nigerians in the diaspora in the US, UK and Canada interested in learning our native languages
  • Responding to learner/parent requests and liaising with tutors
  • Managing the scheduling of initial lessons
  • Designing surveys and conducting customer interviews
  • Due to the nature of our business, there will be some weekend work

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Sales experience (Required)
  • Exposure to international customers (Preferred)
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems, e.g. Zoho / Hubspot (Preferred) Prior work in the Education or Tech Sectors (Preferred)

Other Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office and Google suites
  • Strong prioritisation and organisation skills and a sharp ability to multitask Applicants must have a functioning laptop
  • Fluency in Igbo, Yoruba or Twi is an added advantage

Salary:

  • N400k–N600k typical salary, including uncapped commissions
  • Benefits include health insurance, paid time off and access to courses, workshops and certifications

Remote work, based in Nigeria
