About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our team. The HR Associate will be key in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in recruitment, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts and other onboarding documentation.

Employee Records and HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Manage HR databases and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist with preparing and processing HR documents, such as employment agreements, performance reviews, and termination paperwork.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a remote or tech-based environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with labour laws and HR best practices.

Salary:

  • N300,000

Location

  • Remote work, based in Nigeria.
