Now we’re looking for an exceptional Product Manager to join our remote team, someone who thrives in high-performance environments, wants to leave a legacy in African Edtech, and is ready to start immediately.
The Position & You:
We are scaling quickly and looking for a exceptional and driven Senior Product Manager to lead the development and launch of key features on our platform.
You will own the product lifecycle, working closely with tech, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery that meets both business goals and user needs. You will be responsible for creating, prioritising, and managing the product roadmap and will play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring product-market fit.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Product Strategy & Road-mapping:
- Own the product roadmap and strategy, balancing customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Define and prioritize features, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with tech, design, marketing, and customer experience teams to bring products to life.
- Act as the liaison between stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and execution.
- Incorporate feedback from internal and external sources, including customers, to refine and improve the product.
Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch.
- Create clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure the product experience is intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with user-centered design principles.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Define and monitor key product metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analytics to inform product decisions and optimize features post-launch.
- Implement A/B testing, user surveys, and other tools to gather insights and validate hypotheses.
Design & User Experience:
- Partner with the design team to ensure product features are user-centric and visually appealing.
- Conduct user research and usability testing as part of product development cycles.
- Advocate for high-quality design and user experience throughout the product lifecycle.
Go-to-Market Planning:
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for product launches.
- Ensure alignment across all departments to deliver a cohesive product experience.
Performance Monitoring & Iteration:
- Track product performance post-launch using analytics tools to measure user engagement and satisfaction.
- Regularly iterate on product features based on data-driven insights and customer feedback
Ideally you have:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of post university tech product management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven track record of launching and managing products or features from concept to delivery.
- Experience with user-centered design processes, working alongside design teams.
- Experience in data analytics, A/B testing, and using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Strong understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools to track KPIs and optimize product performance.
- Ability to create detailed product specifications and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder - relationships.
- Analytical mindset with experience in translating data into actionable insights.

- 1 hour Second interview with the CEO & COO at Lingawa.
