In the role of Senior Account Executive, your primary focus will be to identify and develop strategic relationships with potential customers. In this role, you will work with Marketing, Solutions, Ops, Product and Leadership teams to build a strong pipeline of new enterprise level private foundation customers. You will drive the closing process of sales opportunities and implement growth opportunities using a consultative methodology while interacting with our prospects and clients. You are an experienced, enterprise sales professional who thrives in a team environment who is looking to work in a SaaS sales environment as part of a purpose-driven organization.
This role will be part of our remote first culture and report directly to our VP of Sales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Win new business revenue within Enterprise accounts according to the business plan and on a consistent Quarterly and Annual basis
- You will generate and maintain a consistent, accurate, and balanced pipeline of opportunities in assigned territory and guide prospects through the sales cycle to close
- Lead all aspects of the business development / sales process within your assigned territory of accounts
- Create business plan in collaboration with the extended team
- Interact with potential partners, industry groups, and other key external stakeholders as well as understand and evaluate business opportunities, you will develop, modify and execute on business development opportunities.
- Achieve individual revenue goals/quota on a consistent Quarterly and Annual basis
- Collaborate with internal teams (i.e. Finance, Marketing, Product) to drive sales strategy, solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation.
- Manage a short list of enterprise existing customer relationships and drive upsell opportunities within those accounts while working alongside their dedicated CSMs to ensure customer satisfaction to drive retention.
- 10-12 years experience as a top performing Account Executive in SaaS
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and driving complex, multi-stakeholder deals to closure
- Ability to organize to a broad geographic territory, developing and executing a strategic plan with vertical focus and identification and prioritization of target accounts.
- Experience with Foundation, Nonprofit, or Philanthropic grant management processes required
- 20-30% travel required
The expected annual base salary for this role is $110-$125K. This position is also eligible for target-based commissions in the range of $110-$125K. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.
We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
