We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our technology team at Traive. This role is critical to the evolution of our AI-driven platform, where you will have the opportunity to design and deploy machine learning models at scale, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage cutting-edge technologies to transform large volumes of data into valuable insights. Duties/Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Traive, you'll be at the heart of our AI-driven platform, playing a pivotal role in:
- Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models at scale using Databricks and MLflow
- Collaborating with data engineering and product teams to seamlessly integrate ML models into products
- Leveraging modern production ML concepts, including both offline and online feature stores, to enhance model accuracy and efficiency
- Utilizing Apache Spark for big data processing to handle vast data streams effectively
- Implementing and maintaining workflow orchestration to streamline ML processes from data ingestion to model deployment
- Ensuring best practices in CI/CD are adopted for continuous model training, validation, and deployment
- Monitoring model performance and making necessary adjustments for optimal results
- Keeping up with latest advancements in ML and incorporating relevant methodologies and tools to maintain a competitive edge
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related quantitative field
- Proven track record in machine learning engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in production environments
- Proficiency in using Databricks and MLflow for end-to-end ML model development and management
- Solid understanding of modern production ML concepts and the end-to-end ML workflow
- Demonstrable expertise in Apache Spark and its integration with machine learning workflows
- Experience in workflow orchestration tools and methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices, especially in the context of data science
- Strong modeling skills and ability to develop complex machine learning models
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese (both spoken and written)
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in various ML frameworks and libraries beyond Databricks and MLflow
- Previous exposure to cloud-based ML solutions, especially within the AWS or Azure ecosystems
- Familiarity with other ML tools and platforms that can integrate with or complement Databricks and MLflow
- Experience with large language models and deploying infrastructure supporting such applications
