The apparel resale market is expected to reach $350B worldwide by 2027; brands that don't participate are leaving billions in revenue on the table and missing out on a powerful way to engage with their customers.

With Treet, brands can launch their own resale experience in a matter of days—unlocking a new revenue stream, increasing customer loyalty, and reducing their carbon footprint.

👉 We launched Summer 2021 and are already powering the resale experiences for 300+ brands (the majority of branded resale sites worldwide), including Portland Leather Goods, Melin, DÔEN, and Howler Brothers.

👀 About you

🔎 We’re looking for an all-star Business Development Representative to help Treet unlock growth by aligning us with world-class e-commerce brands.

You would be our dream candidate if…

  • You’re competitive nature with a growth mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for personal development
  • You’re extremely driven and determined to go above and beyond to hit quota
  • You’re excited to use AI tools and LLMs (e.g. ChatGPT) as part of your daily workflow to move faster, write better outreach, and continuously improve how you sell
  • You’re proficient in leveraging sales and automation tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for scalable processes, believing in continuous process improvement
  • You have strong writing skills to generate compelling sales copy and enjoy direct interaction with e-commerce brands
  • You believe in the power of secondhand shopping to foster sustainability across the industry
  • You have 0–2 years of sales outreach experience and can work from our SF or NYC office three days a week

💻 About the role

  • A key member of the sales team responsible for identifying, prospecting, and opening opportunities to meet your brand acquisition targets
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and your dedicated Account Executives to build out and refine our sales process
  • Support your team by sharing best practices, what’s working well, and helping others grow alongside you
  • Partner with Account Executives, collaborating on outreach tactics and strategy to hit your goals
  • Play a key role in building our culture as the company grows
  • You’ll get hands-on exposure to early-stage sales strategy, messaging, and experimentation, helping shape how we scale
  • While your role is defined as above, you may be asked to work on special projects (or come up with your own!) to help the company grow
