About the role
As an Infrastructure Engineer at Twelve labs, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining our on-premise solution. Serving the on-premise AI solution requires solving novel problems such as ensuring top-notch service reliability, data security and performance optimizations. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability and security of our platform and internal systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our AI-driven products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hybrid-cloud and on-prem environments, strong problem solving skills and a curiosity for staying up to date with new and emerging technologies.
In this role, you will
- Take part in the design, implementation and management of Twelve Labs cloud and on-premise solutions
- Lead the build of on-premise solution to accommodate enterprise customers
- Architect Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible with mature CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to existing architecture and optimization of a highly utilized cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security and efficiency
- Champion best practices in security and compliance, ensuring our infrastructure is resilient against threats and aligned with industry standards
- Ensure documentation for installation and troubleshooting
You may be a good fit if you have
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure including Kubernetes, AWS, or Infrastructure as Code.
- 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure deployment experience in hybrid-cloud or on-prem environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Participate in developing a strong culture of best practices within the team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Desired experience
- Experience building Machine Learning solutions in the cloud
- Hands on experience with the installation of private or offline networks
- Experience developing infrastructure or applications with Go
- Experience in building and maintaining services on air-gapped environments
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack, etc.
