About the Role
We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to lead and scale our internal IT operations. This role is based in our San Francisco office and will support a global, distributed team. You’ll work closely with our Operations, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure our systems are fast, secure, reliable, and compliant.
This is a highly cross-functional position, requiring strong technical expertise, operational rigor, and a user-first mindset. You’ll play a key role in building out our IT function and enabling a high-performing, hybrid workforce. At this stage of our rapid growth, with doubling our team in a short time period, we’ve found that being in-person together drives faster iteration, deeper trust, and a stronger foundation for our IT systems—so we’ve designed this role as a full-time, on-site position in our San Francisco office.
In this role you will:
Oversee company-wide IT infrastructure, including endpoint management (macOS and Windows), device lifecycle, and employee onboarding/offboarding
Build and manage secure, high-performing Wi-Fi and IT access systems for our San Francisco & Seoul offices and future office locations
Partner closely with our Infrastructure and Security teams to align on identity, access management, and data protection strategies
Lead compliance support for IT-related aspects of SOC 2, GDPR, and other data protection frameworks
Administer and secure access to SaaS tools including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and GitHub
Provide timely support and issue resolution for employees both onsite and remote
Own IT procurement, asset tracking, and vendor management
Identify and implement scalable tools and automations to improve IT operations and employee experience
Facilities Support (as needed):
Provide backup support for day-to-day office operations (e.g., coordinating vendor visits, setting up workstations or AV for meetings)
Assist with badge access systems, basic physical security tooling, and space planning tools
Partner with Workplace or Operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for hybrid employees and visitors
Troubleshoot in-office tech setups related to workstations, conferencing tools, or general connectivity issues
Help manage inventory and logistics for office equipment and shared spaces
Support office moves and reconfigurations, including coordinating logistics and ensuring minimal disruption to employees
Maintain up-to-date documentation for office layouts, emergency procedures, and vendor contact lists
Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including desk setup/cleanup, badge provisioning, and access removal
You may be a good fit if you have:
5+ years of experience managing IT in a multi-platform environment (macOS and Windows)
Strong hands-on experience with SaaS tools, endpoint management (e.g., Kandji & Intune), and identity/access systems
Experience deploying and managing Wi-Fi, network access, and IT infrastructure in office environments
Experience working with a Globally distributed team
Familiarity with SOC2, GDPR, and IT security/compliance best practices
Track record of partnering effectively with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
Excellent communication and documentation skills
