Unephra is a California-based digital health startup improving patient management at home through its passive urine monitoring platform, initially targeting heart failure and hypertension. By combining hardware, data analytics, and digital health technology, Unephra helps patients and healthcare providers detect early warning signs and prevent costly hospital readmissions. ** About the Role** This internship is ideal for students eager to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of healthtech, data, and product innovation. Interns will contribute to technical and business initiatives that advance Unephra’s at-home monitoring platform. As the company participates in the Techstars accelerator, interns will gain exposure to startup growth, clinical validation, and AI-driven product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and technical documentation for the product and research teams.
- Support product testing, usability studies, and feedback integration for new platform features.
- Conduct competitive research and help identify potential partners or pilot sites.
- Collaborate with engineering and clinical teams to organize and analyze performance data.
- Create presentations, research briefs, or reports to communicate findings and progress.
What We’re Looking For Unephra seeks technically minded interns with curiosity, initiative, and strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates foundational knowledge of data analytics or software tools, thrives in fast-paced, startup settings, and has a genuine interest in digital health innovation. You should be self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn from both the technical and operational sides of the business.
