As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will help define the company’s technical roadmap, alongside an ambitious and passionate team who has each other’s backs. Your role will primarily involve hands-on coding and development of our enterprise SaaS web platform and analytics infrastructure. The ideal candidate has knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks, and has ample experience on engineering teams shipping customer-facing software products.

We are currently a bootstrapped startup with market validation of our solution. We have established relationships with over 2k stakeholders (potential customers, investors, industry experts, entrepreneurs, competitors, etc). We have won multiple competitions. We plan to fundraise after starting pilots (scheduled for this summer). We’re looking for someone who is passionate, wants to join at the ground-level, and can work for equity until we fundraise (or contract), along with the rest of the team.

Experience:
5+ years of web/software development experience, specifically for Enterprise SaaS (built and launched an entire platform before).
Fluency or proficiency with these languages and frameworks:
Python (django), Javascript ES6, React, Redux, GCP, Docker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the first iteration of our enterprise SaaS web platform and Chrome Extention for HR and employees
  • Helping to execute the technical roadmap for our products
  • Working directly with our CEO and engineer, and potentially customers to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch quickly.
  • You'll have a lot of responsibility as soon as you join - the best solution (the one you come up with) is the solution we’ll use.
  • Identify, recommend, and utilize A/B testing framework and user-action analytics tools

About you:

  • You've got a successful track record of building beautiful, customer-facing web applications and backend infrastructure to support them
  • You are able to work independently but will ask for help when needed
  • Entrepreneurial, humble, resourceful, direct, takes initiative, curious
  • You’ve created platforms that require information privacy and security (we are dealing with PII and will seek to be SOC-2 compliant soon)
  • You have a deep understanding of how web pages are served and deployed from the back-end, front-end, and databases while feeling comfortable jumping into either side of the stack
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English); you're able to break down concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences, including potentially for customers
  • Communication with investors (nice to have)
  • Experience or interest in data engineering projects is a big plus (but not required)
  • Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them
  • Ability to learn new things independently
  • Confident in your abilities

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS is a plus (not required)
  • Experience building excellent SDKs and/or working with APIs
  • Experience with Kafka and Redis
  • Experience with Data Science
  • Experience in AI: ML and NLP/NLU
  • Experience in UX best practices to design solutions
