About the Role

The company is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer (III) to join the Product team. This engineer will play a key role in designing and building features that scale the platform and deliver innovative functionality to customers. You’ll be collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, product managers, designers, and QA specialists to deliver high-quality software that drives real-world results.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to designing and developing scalable technical solutions.
• Partner with Product Management and Technical Leads to scope, estimate, and deliver commitments.
• Apply and advocate best practices, tools, and methodologies to streamline development.
• Share progress, risks, and blockers effectively with stakeholders, including leadership.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities.

Tech Stack in Use

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, AntD, Jest, React Testing Library
• Backend: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq Pro, RSpec
• Core Skills: SQL, shell scripting, config/environment management
• Deployment & Workflow: GitHub, AWS, DataDog, Jira, Confluence, Sentry, Code Climate, PagerDuty, Slack, Fellow

Preferred Background

• 4+ years building web apps with frameworks like Rails, Spring, or similar MVC technologies.
• 4+ years working with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) to build SPAs.
• 4+ years with relational databases (preferably Postgres or other ANSI-compliant systems).
• 3+ years implementing responsive and performant web UIs using HTML and CSS.
• Proven ability to translate wireframes/mockups into functional features.
• Familiarity with agile methods and openness to shifting requirements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with an interest in mentoring or leadership.
• Performance-focused mindset, both on the client and server side.
• Hands-on experience using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments with SLAs, on-call rotations, and service-level practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing large datasets and optimizing frontend architectures for performance.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries like Chart.js, Highcharts, or D3.
• Strong knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS, with an emphasis on responsive design.
