Job Title: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

What You’ll Do

• End-to-End Development: Design and build features across the stack — from backend APIs and data pipelines to frontend interfaces in React.
• Database Engineering: Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases, designing efficient schemas and queries for large-scale candidate data ingestion and matching.
• Data Integration & Flows: Implement secure and scalable ingestion workflows, leveraging tools like Supabase and BPM automation frameworks (e.g., n8n, Airflow).
• Security & Compliance: Lead efforts around data privacy, security, and compliance — including policies, anonymization, and safe handling of candidate data.
• Matchmaking & Personalization: Experiment with rules-based matching and lightweight AI/LLM components to improve job-to-candidate recommendations.
• Email Campaign Systems: Build and optimize infrastructure for automated rejection emails, job recommendations, and candidate engagement campaigns.
• Frontend Development: Contribute to user-facing dashboards and campaign tools with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Scalable Architecture: Help design a secure, cloud-native architecture that can grow as pilots turn into scaled deployments.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with the founding team to translate business needs into technical requirements; mentor future hires as we grow the engineering team.
• Experimentation: Contribute to rapid pilots and controlled tests, measuring conversion rates, match quality, and unit economics.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong full stack background.
• Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS), schema design, and optimization.
• Strong frontend development skills with React and modern component-driven frameworks.
• Proven backend engineering skills with Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Experience with Supabase or similar platforms for authentication, database, and APIs.
• Familiarity with workflow/BPM tools like n8n, Airflow, or comparable frameworks.
• Strong understanding of security, data privacy, and compliance considerations in handling sensitive data.
• Comfortable operating in a startup-style environment where you own projects end-to-end.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience building matchmaking or recommendation systems (rules-based or AI-driven).
• Background in email campaign platforms, deliverability, or affiliate marketing systems.
• Knowledge of scaling architectures for high-volume transactional systems.
• Exposure to HR tech, talent acquisition systems (ATS/CRM), or job boards.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
