About the Company

Our hiring partner is a fast-growing startup with offices in the U.S. and Brazil, on a mission to prevent wildfires through advanced sensing and embedded technologies. Backed by U.S. investors, the company is expanding its engineering team in Brazil and looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer to join their São Paulo office on a hybrid basis.

About the Role

As an Embedded Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and optimize firmware and embedded systems that power the company’s wildfire prevention solutions. You’ll work closely with a global engineering team to deliver reliable, high-performance software for innovative hardware devices deployed in the field.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop embedded software using C++
  • Implement, test, and debug firmware for custom hardware platforms
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate and validate systems
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of embedded solutions
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to key technical decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development
  • Strong programming skills in C++
  • Hands-on experience with firmware development, debugging, and testing
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, RTOS, and low-level hardware interfaces
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Based in São Paulo or open to working hybrid from the local office
