A dynamic UK-based technology company with a global impact across logistics, we’re searching for a Lead Designer who is excited by the prospect of working in a rapidly growing international scale-up.

Raft is looking for a highly skilled Lead Designer with outstanding conceptual and creative visual design skills as well as a strong understanding of business and the creating a delightful experience people fall in love with.

You will design end-to-end user experiences from early prototypes, customer discovery to product launch and gathering insights right after.

About The Role

• Be a strategic partner, not just a do-er — working collaboratively with product, engineering, Marketing, Design, and other stakeholders
• Innovate continually within the product team to build and improve our core product and take concepts through to production.
• Collaborate with the product, engineering, data, and marketing teams to develop a smooth user experience with high-end look and feel.
  

Day-to-day you will:

• Take charge of the product design journey, guiding it from initial idea through to final realization, by nurturing your team and leveraging your depth of knowledge.
• Cultivate and enhance the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, infusing simplicity and clarity into the intricate landscape of our AI SaaS product.
• Embrace and transform insights from comprehensive user research into tangible enhancements, particularly tailored for enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Engage in harmonious collaboration with diverse teams—spanning engineering, product management, QA, Customer Success, and Sales—to faithfully bring the design vision to life.
• Gracefully present design concepts and prototypes, adopting a client-focused perspective in all dialogues.
• Embrace feedback with an open heart, refining and elevating the final designs to meet and surpass client desires and expectations.
• Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging trends in design, technology, and user experience, leveraging this knowledge to continuously enrich our product offerings.
