- Partner and earn trust with regional operations personnel at all levels to ensure regional standardization and effective implementation of new processes.
- Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation
- Develop and implement process improvement solutions using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Implement hardware, material handling and automation solutions
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in package sortation, truck loading, and unloading processes.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Conduct time and motion studies to analyze warehouse workflows.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and delivery operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in a logistics environment.
- Proven experience in applying industrial engineering principles to improve processes.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Expertise in using drafting tools and computer-assisted design software to create the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience in automated package sortation is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, business needs can fluctuate.
