About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.
We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.
Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.
To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.
About The Role
As Director of Product for Under the Roof, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for all technology that powers Veho’s warehouse operations. This is a Director-level role (People Leader + IC Hybrid), reporting to the VP Product.
You will be responsible for the technology that makes our ground operations productive, visible, and enforceable across every facility in the network. Your product portfolio spans Warehouse Management, Operator and Supervisor Tooling, Facility Orchestration, Facility Configuration and Capacity Management, Labor Planning, Launch (driver dispatch), and Exception Management. You will lead Product Manager(s) and carry direct product ownership over several of these areas yourself.
This role sits at the intersection of software and physical operations. You will partner tightly with Process Engineering (who owns the physical processes, standards, and layouts), Network and Transportation Tech (who owns the technology for package movement between facilities), and Ground Operations (who execute shifts every day using the tools you build). The products you ship will directly impact Units Per Hour, defect rates, package loss, container and truck utilization, Ops Clock milestone attainment, and operator experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will own the product vision and roadmap for everything that happens inside Veho’s warehouses. You will expand WMS from its current MVP into a full-capability platform while building just-in-time operator and supervisor tooling that drives real productivity gains on every shift.
You will build the systems that model facility capacity and Ops Clock milestones, creating the digital twin of our network that powers orchestration and planning. You will replace fully manual labor planning with productized, intuitive tooling that allows Ground Ops Managers to build effective shift plans.
You will optimize the launch process to reduce driver time under the roof, ship exception management workflows that prevent package loss and enforce chain-of-custody, and build consolidation tooling that drives measurably fuller containers and trucks.
You will ship real improvements quickly. This role demands a builder who can prototype, leverage AI tools, and iterate fast alongside their team. You will not wait for perfect alignment. You will make calls, execute, learn, and improve.
What a Great Candidate Looks Like
You have deep product management experience in last mile and middle mile warehouses. You have built or owned under-the-roof systems such as WMS, operator-facing workflows, facility orchestration, or labor planning. You know what it takes to ship software that warehouse associates and supervisors actually use and trust, because you have spent meaningful time on the floor understanding their challenges.
You are a builder, not just a delegator. You can prototype, use AI tools, and ship solutions yourself. You expect your team to move with the same velocity. You design for simplicity and clarity because you know that operator adoption is the only metric that matters for tooling.
You think in systems. You can see how a change in facility configuration affects capacity planning, which affects labor staffing, which affects sort completion times, which affects launch. You translate that systems thinking into product requirements that engineers can build and operators can execute.
You are an exceptional communicator with high ownership. You present clearly to executives, write PRDs that engineers actually read, and earn credibility with operators by deeply understanding their world. You operate with speed, make decisions with conviction, and have a low tolerance for bureaucracy.
You have a strong mental model for building high-performing teams. Whether or not you have formally managed PMs before, you know what good looks like and you can coach people to get there.
What You Bring
  1. 8+ years of product management experience.
  2. Direct warehouse or fulfillment operations product experience (required).
  3. Track record shipping under-the-roof technology that moved real metrics (UPH, cost, defects, throughput, operator adoption).
  4. Builder mindset: comfort with prototyping, AI tooling, and shipping directly.
  5. Systems thinking across software and physical operations.
  6. Multi-site rollout and change management experience.
  7. Stellar communication and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
Preferred (but Not Required):
Experience at world class operations along with a high-growth logistics tech startup. Experience managing product managers. SQL fluency.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $200,000 – $240,000 per year.
