About Veho
- Portfolio Strategy & Vision: You own the 1–2 year transportation technology strategy, deciding where to invest, divest, or double down. You author the planning narratives and operating frameworks that define how we move packages between facilities.
- Metric Ownership & Rigor: You own the area-level metric framework, presenting network health and performance to the Executive team. You create the WBR/MBR operating cadence for metrics-driven decisions, holding teams accountable for initiatives that don't meet ROI targets.
- Execution You allocate engineering capacity across your portfolio by strategic priority. You make high-level decisions for transportation management systems (TMS) or routing engines and are accountable for the area’s overall quality.
- Management of Leaders: You manage Senior PMs, coaching them on strategy quality and organizational design rather than day-to-day spec writing.
- Builder Mindset & AI Leverage: You set the standard for AI proficiency within your org. You are a builder, not just a delegator. You can prototype, use AI tools, and ship solutions yourself. You expect your team to move with the same velocity.
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Direct transportation management operations product experience (required). You have deep experience building or owning transportation tech, middle-mile routing, or linehaul systems.
- Systems Thinking: You can see how a delay in a middle-mile leg affects facility labor staffing, which in turn affects driver launch times. You translate this into product requirements that prioritize the global optimum over local team wins.
- Track record shipping transportation technology that moved real metrics (Truck Utilization, Network Cost, Carrier Performance, On Time Delivery).
- Builder mindset: You have a low tolerance for bureaucracy and a high bias for action.comfort with prototyping, AI tooling, and shipping directly.
- Systems thinking across software and physical operations.
- Network rollout and change management experience.
- Strong writing skills, with a history of producing strategy docs and PR/FAQs that require minimal structural revision.
- Stellar communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
