Principal/Lead Fintech Engineer (Startup - Series A)

Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical, operational, and business requirements for our platform.
 - Design and build end-to-end experiences for the Venteur platform, focusing on usability, scalability, and performance.
 - Architect efficient and scalable systems to meet customer demand and enhance user experiences.
 - Work closely with designers, engineers, operations, and customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
 - Continuously analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems.
 - Contribute to recruiting efforts and messaging; lead and mentor new hires and other engineers.

 - Strong technical background, including 7+ years of experience building impactful products at scale.
 - Both front-end and back-end experience coupled with anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally.
 - Commitment to high-quality code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation, and has appropriate production observability.
 - High degree of empathy for both internal and external customers.
 - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills that allow you to work effectively with distributed team members.
 - Strong computer science fundamentals and knowledge of data structures, OOP, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
 - You have a strong fintech background, having navigated financial regulatory requirements while delivering technological solutions.
 - You are familiar with accounting principles and the fiduciary responsibilities associated with holding funds as a product.
