About the Role:

Our Operations Team oversees Venteur's financial management, contracts, invoicing, and compliance. This role is perfect for highly-detailed and organized individuals who aren't afraid of complexity. As part of a fast-growing startup, you'll play a leadership role in building operational systems and processes to allow our business to scale rapidly. You'll also play a key role in creating and implementing quality assurance systems that make sure we meet a high degree of customer satisfaction. The best part? Your work will make a difference. On a daily basis, we help families save thousands of dollars on their health care.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain contracts and appointments with insurance carriers: This team manages over 150 insurance licenses and certifications, as well as thousands of partnership agreements with insurance carriers and healthcare providers.
• Process insurance enrollments and perform audits to ensure policy accuracy.
• Process premium payments and perform regular audits to proactively identify issues and provide resolution to our members and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Handle complex member disputes and escalations that require coordination with the member, carrier, and marketplace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
• Stay up to date and quickly obtain proficiency in new regulations, technologies, and tools, as needed, to meet business needs. Update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
• Develop solutions and/or processes to ensure customer needs and compliance requirements are met.
  
  
  

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to obtain health insurance producer/broker’s license (Venteur will pay for your licensing and training fees).
• Enthusiasm, aptitude, and attitude for a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-growth startup work environment.
• Extreme attention to detail with experience evaluating, negotiating, and enforcing contracts.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and tools for data analysis and management.
  
  
  

Bonus Qualifications:

• Active Health Insurance Producer License or experience in the health benefits space
• Experience with B2B2C (especially in insurance or FinTech) and/or SaaS technology
• Familiarity with healthcare insurance regulations, PCI compliance, and/or NACHA standards
• Experience with contract management systems or software
• Familiarity with business license requirements and filing processes
