Senior Vice President (SVP), Toy Industry — Full-time, remote

Veracity Protocol is creating the protocol of trust to protect brands, customers, and their physical assets in the digital world. The SVP for the toy industry will play a key role in helping brands with this industry shift and digital transformation.
The SVP, Toy Industry role is a newly created full-time/remote role responsible for all aspects of Veracity Protocol strategy and business development in the digitalization of the toy market. The SVP will position her/himself as trusted digital and business transformation advisor to key global toy manufacturing brands, convincing them to unleash the potential of their brand reputation and physical assets by embracing DeFi models and digital-metaverse service opportunities. This role will be a key member of the leadership team and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Manage innovation strategy and business development process from concept to completion for the Toy Industry and other subsequent verticals
Develop and lead the revenue generation and business development
Maintain deep understanding of market trends, with emphasis on new technologies
Drive the Go-to-Market process as a thought leader and business partner
Explore creative business models to create value for company customers and shareholders
Build an ecosystem of partners that will strengthen VP’s value proposition and go-to-market to the Toy Industry
Collaborate with internal stakeholders using clear and effective communication
Ensure deliverables are met, timelines are set, and budgets are in-line and accurate
Review and get feedback for team’s work, troubleshoot to find solutions for challenges encountered
10+ years of related or similar experience
Solid network amongst the targeted vertical (e.g. Toy Industry)
Experience in selling innovation and/or digitalization of physical products
Experience interacting with C-Suite executives
Demonstrated ability to build extensive partners’ network
Track record in new business development
Solution oriented (understand pain-points, active listener, team catalyst, results-driven)
Tech-savvy sales person with a strong business acumen
Ability to lead large creative business projects
Oversight of innovative style in revenue generation
Strong knowledge and understanding of new trends and technology
Excellent communications skills, with ability to present concepts in a persuasive manner.
Strong and experienced in leadership with executive presence
Hands-on and autonomous
Experience with start-up environment
Crypto/Blockchain space skills
NFT/DeFi services experience
Independent Consultant Agreement
US$180,000 annual consulting remuneration
Stock options based on KPIs
