Air Rescue Systems (ARS), a Vita Inclinata Company, provides Advanced Technology, comprehensive helicopter Rescue Training and field-proven Equipment. Our equipment is designed for rapid deployment, ease of use, and maximum durability during helicopter rescue operations.
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our Industrial Sewing Machine team while managing production, inventory, and quality assurance. This hands-on role requires strong operations leadership experience; knowledge of production scheduling, logistics and inventory management; sewing skills and technical expertise in industrial sewing operations; and the capabilities to supervise and coordinate employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position can be located in Ashland, OR or Denver, CO.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following
Team Supervision & Leadership:
- Lead and oversee the Industrial Sewing Machine team and production employees.
- Ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Train and mentor employees on industrial sewing techniques, equipment maintenance, and production processes
Industrial Sewing & Production Management:
- Actively participate in industrial sewing operations to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor workflow, resolve production challenges, and implement process improvements.
- Maintain a safe and organized production environment.
Inventory & Quality Control:
- Manage inventory levels to ensure materials are available for production.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to meet product specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production defects or inefficiencies.
- Manage and maintain company ISO9001 QMS program.
- Manage site safety IAW company safety program to include annualized safety training.
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the ARS Sewing, Production and Production Control departments. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Manages the daily production schedule and work orders. Manages all aspects of production including the flow of materials and maintenance of production equipment and tooling. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel Requirements
Travel requirements may be up to 70%, depending on business needs.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 3 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industrial sewing experience is required – must have hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines.
- Demonstrated experience working with supply chain teams to complete material requirements planning to meet production demand.
- Demonstrated experience managing production schedules and resources.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and quality control processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading small teams in an operations environment.

Compensation
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year; however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
