Position Overview

Vita Inclinata is seeking a dynamic Aerospace Account Manager/Hoist Instructor to join our team, combining expertise in helicopter hoist training with strategic account management/customer relationship responsibilities. This unique role focuses primarily on search and rescue operations, requiring both technical proficiency and business acumen to drive growth while delivering exceptional training services to our clients.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the go-to expert for both internal teams and external clients, ensuring that our customers receive the best HHO solutions for their specific mission sets and requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert to customers, offering expert insights and recommendations for their varied mission sets.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Identify sales opportunities in region and progress to complete the sales process including introduction presentations, product demos, proposal generation and presentations, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
  • Manage client accounts from initial contact through contract completion and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Training & Instruction:

  • Deliver high-quality training to customers, both in a classroom and practical setting, ensuring that they acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform helicopter hoist operations safely and effectively.
  • Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for new and experienced personnel to ensure knowledge and skillset required to perform helicopter hoist operations safely and effectively.
  • Provide hands-on training in hoist operation, including equipment use, safety checks, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary to ensure that they achieve the required standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to helicopter hoist operations and integrate them into the training program as needed.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with company policies, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and updates on hoist operation protocols.
  • Participate in safety audits and incident investigations as required.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to continually improve the training program and materials.
  • Ensure that all training equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Solicit feedback from trainees and stakeholders to enhance training quality.

Additional Duties:

  • Travel up to 50% to client locations for training delivery and account management activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide client feedback.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and professional development events.
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities and client interactions within Salesforce CRM system.
  • Support marketing initiatives with technical expertise and client testimonials.
Requirements

Experience & Certifications:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in helicopter hoist operations, including practical experience in both onshore and offshore settings.
  • Experience as a trainer or instructor preferred.
  • Experience selling and building a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required.

  • Strong presentation abilities with experience addressing diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record in account management or business development.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied skill levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Ability to assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Builds partnerships with related departments or functions to enhance efficiency and execution.

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and potentially challenging environments.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel up to 50% of the time to client locations for training delivery, account management activities, and business development initiatives.

Compensation

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $75,000 - 110,000 per year plus commission, however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
