🛠 What You'll Do

Our pipelines already move over €1,000,000,000 in yearly e-commerce revenue through complex transactional, behavioral, and marketing datasets. You'll make sure to build and keep a scalable, robust data pipelines that power our web app, machine learning models, and optimization algorithms.

• Process diverse datasets (transactional, behavioral, product, and marketing data) into actionable formats for our AI models and engineering teams
• Ensure data reliability, cleanliness, and timeliness across the platform
• Act as first point of contact for new data requirements
• Collaborate closely with our CTO, data scientists, engineers, and customer success team
• Continuously improve our data infrastructure and advocate for engineering best practices

✅ Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering
• 3+ years working with Python (Pandas, Polars)
• Solid expertise in SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable batch data pipelines consumed by web applications and AI models (forecasting, agentic)
• Ability to design and implement clean, reliable, and scalable API backend systems
• Robust testing habits and solid DataOps/MLOps workflows
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Strong product intuition and an ownership mindset
• Daily use of AI tools in your development workflow
• Fluent English and professional asynchronous communication (German is a plus)

🌟 Bonus / Nice-to-Have

• Experience in a B2B SaaS startup/scaleup environment
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms: Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, Channable
• Big data frameworks: dbt, dask, Apache Spark, EMR, Databricks, AWS Glue
• Time series forecasting libraries: Nixtla, Darts, statsmodels, sktime
• Experience with streaming data pipelines
• A passion for improving developer experience
