An Implementation Manager at Voyager Portal is tasked with getting our customer implemented and onboarded to our platform. You will be tasked with learning the ins and outs of their business and help their internal teams to map business processes to our software. This role will give you an opportunity to learn about best practices within maritime logistics, and you will interface with executive and management teams from Global Fortune 2000 companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the company's software products from inception to completion. Create SQL dashboards and build workflows for our customers using low-code technologies.
- Customer Onboarding: Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs, provide training, and ensure successful software adoption.
- Project Management: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/customers for the seamless execution of projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Industry Expertise: Gain in-depth insights into customer business processes in the maritime logistics and energy sectors, advising on how to best map these processes onto our platform.
- Product Knowledge: Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights from customer implementations to drive product enhancements.
- Value Articulation: Clearly communicate Voyager’s value proposition tailored to each customer’s unique requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to refine and optimize our implementation processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in software implementation, preferably within sectors like maritime logistics, energy, or commodities trading.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders; familiarity with both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Technical acumen: Ability to use SQL, build workflows using low-code technologies, and understand APIs and data infrastructure.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in fast-paced environments and skilled at navigating ambiguity.
- Initiative: Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision and proactively identify and act on priorities.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of adapting the message for diverse audiences from technical teams to C-suite executives.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, finance, or engineering is desirable but not mandatory.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
