Join Us at Voyc
Voyc is a fast-growing SaaS company building AI-powered tools that help financial services teams monitor and improve customer interactions.
We’re a small, driven team that moves fast, works collaboratively and cares deeply about the quality of what we build. We’re looking for a Junior Product Analyst to help us stay organised, informed and focused as we scale — and to grow alongside us in the process.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone curious about how software products are shaped, improved and delivered. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and wider team across research, backlog management, customer communications, product analysis and tooling.
From day one, you’ll help us tackle a growing backlog of Sleekplan feature requests — cleaning, merging and categorising them so we can better prioritise customer needs. Over time, you’ll take ownership of our biweekly feature request reviews, become an expert on our platform and customers and contribute to everything from usage analysis to requirements documentation.
You’ll start with a structured onboarding that includes our internal Academy and shadowing our Technical Success team to build context around how Voyc is used in real-life environments. Most learning will happen on the job, with clear guidance, regular feedback and plenty of room to take initiative and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Review and manage incoming product feedback and feature requests
- Take ownership of our Sleekplan backlog by auditing, merging and updating open requests
- Track themes and maintain visibility of what matters most to customers
- Categorise, triage and clean up new ideas and feedback in both Sleekplan and Jira
- Identify duplicates, outdated items and unclear tickets for follow-up
- Help maintain a clear, well-organised backlog for smoother planning and prioritisation
Support and grow into ownership of our biweekly feature request review sessions
- Prepare structured agendas for each session
- Flag new or notable requests for discussion
- Maintain a living record of reviewed items, outcomes and status updates
- Eventually lead these reviews independently with support from the Product Manager
Spend time daily using the platform to identify UX gaps and product inefficiencies
- Actively explore and test different workflows across the product
- Suggest usability improvements and raise low-friction fixes
- Help pre-empt feature requests by understanding user friction before it’s reported
- Build confidence and context to triage future user feedback more effectively
Own competitor research and market analysis
- Monitor industry developments, tools and trends
- Keep internal documentation current with competitor positioning
- Present relevant insights to help shape product and roadmap decisions
Draft and coordinate product communications
- Write weekly internal release summaries for the team
- Prepare customer-facing product updates and Sleekplan announcements
- Adjust tone and content depending on the audience and format
Assist with product requirements and scoping
- Draft user stories and initial acceptance criteria
- Identify missing information, edge cases or dependencies
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to prepare features for handover to design and engineering
Analyse product usage and customer behaviour
- Review adoption trends across customers and features
- Identify underused functionality and opportunities to improve
- Provide simple, actionable insights to inform prioritisation
Support team coordination and product tooling
- Help schedule product meetings, prepare agendas and take notes
- Keep Jira, Notion and Slack spaces tidy and up to date
- Jump in on QA, user research or internal documentation as needed
What We’re Looking For
- A logical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt tone and style across audiences
- A proactive, organised individual who takes initiative and can work independently
- A genuine interest in software, user behaviour and how digital products are built and improved
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Must Haves
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (NQF6 or above)
- Legally eligible to work in South Africa and based in the country
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Tech-savvy and confident learning new tools and systems independently
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience in a related role such as business analysis, customer support, QA or product operations
- Exposure to SaaS products or Agile software development environments
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Slack or Figma
