About the role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Web Engineer to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing various web components of our platform. This role requires deep technical expertise, a passion for working with 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), and a strong startup mentality.

Our Gauzilla Pro is a fully web-based, AI-powered, and no-code editor/viewer for 3D/4D digital twins. It utilizes WebGL and WebAssembly modules (written in Rust) for high-performance 3D rendering on the web and also utilizes serverless edge AI models that run directly in web browsers via WebGPU and ONNX. As a Full-Stack Web Engineer focused on product values, you’ll be helping us delivering the web platform of Gauzilla Pro. This is a unique opportunity where you'll influence strategic product and infrastructure decisions as we bridge the gap between 3DGS and the delightful experience our users have come to expect.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with the strongly hands-on CTO to design, develop, and maintain the web platform of Gauzilla Pro, building out a new set of frontend UIs and backend systems with deep consideration for UX and performance.
• Research and develop clean, scalable and maintainable solutions that are secure, enterprise-ready, and easy-to-use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in working through the complete life cycle for mid/large-scale web platforms, both frontend and backend.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript, and at least 1 popular framework (e.g. Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Strong proficiency in a backend language (Rust prefered).
• Strong understanding of WebGL, WebAssembly, and WebGPU.
