The Role: Business Development Representative

We’re looking for a high-energy Go-to-Market Generalist to join our founding team in Chattanooga. You’ll help us grow to 100+ customers by building pipeline, testing campaigns, and supporting sales, marketing, and partnership initiatives from the ground up.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Is startup-obsessed (maybe even a future/former founder) and wants an exclusive front-row seat to building a generational company from Pre-Seed
  • Might’ve once considered law school—but craved something faster-paced and more impactful
  • Wants to grind in the most exciting early-stage startup co-working space in the Southeast with 10+ other YC/venture-backed teams (SF who?)
  • Thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving, IRL environment (yes, we mean in-person—not just Slack!)

What You’ll Do

  • Own outbound prospecting strategy and execution (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) and partner with the CEO on early sales conversations
  • Qualify inbound leads through research and proactively set meetings
  • Lead and scale our referral programs, building repeatable deal flow through partnerships with law firms, agencies, and VCs
  • Assist in creating GTM assets to support sales, education, and brand-building
  • Engage directly with customers to build relationships and turn early users into power users
  • Refine our ideal customer persona through customer insights and shape the product roadmap alongside the founding team
  • Leverage AI to 10x your output and continue to recommend new systems and processes to reflect industry best practices
  • Host events, webinars, and strategic activations, with up to 25% domestic and international travel

You Might Be a Fit If You…

  • Have 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales (former founders welcome!)
  • Looking to move to an AE role within 1 year
  • Are a clear communicator who can tell a story, sell a vision, and get people excited
  • Love running fast experiments and digging into data
  • Are energized by ambiguity, quick pivots, and building from scratch
  • Skilled in using CRM systems, sales prospecting tools, Canva, Google Drive, and LinkedIn
  • AI Power User (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
  • Are curious about compliance or the intersection of law + marketing
  • Experience at a tech SaaS startup or financial services/insurance is a huge plus
