Warrant is the AI-powered marketing compliance platform for regulated industries. We help banks, credit unions, insurers, and enterprises ship marketing faster without ending up in front of their regulators or in a lawsuit. Our platform scans content against 3,000+ federal and state regulations, runs approval workflows, and serves as the system of record for every marketing and social media asset a regulated company produces.
We won the pitch competition at Fintech Meetup and we’re moving fast.
The Role
We’re hiring our first Implementation Engineer: the person who turns a signed contract into a happy, live customer, and then keeps shipping fixes that make the next one easier.
This is a client-facing and engineering role. Half the job is onsite at banks, credit unions, law firms, and enterprises, standing up the platform inside their environment, configuring SSO, walking their security teams through our architecture, and unblocking go-live.
The other half is back in the codebase, fixing the bugs you found onsite, building the integrations the next customer needs, and shipping product improvements that show up in your own implementation queue.
You’re a vibe coder. You move fast with AI as a force multiplier. You should be design minded and familiar with Claude Code. You’re not precious about how a line of code gets written as long as the result is solid. You believe shipping beats perfection, but you know which corners are load-bearing.
What You’ll Do
Lead onsite customer implementations: kickoffs, integration scoping, SSO and SCIM setup, data migration, security reviews, go-lives. Roughly 25% travel, mostly to enterprise customers and credit unions across the U.S.
Fix bugs. A lot of them. You’ll be the first responder for customer-reported issues and the engineer who closes the loop in the codebase, not just the ticket.
- Build customer-specific configurations, integrations, and one-off scripts to get deployments over the finish line.
- Translate customer pain into product feedback the rest of the team can act on
- Own the technical side of customer security reviews and questionnaires. Partner with us on SOC 2 evidence as it relates to your implementations.
- Document what you build so the next implementation is faster than the last one.
You’re Probably a Fit If
- You’re a strong vibe coder, fluent with AI-assisted development tools and a high-velocity, ship-it builder by default.
- You’ve shipped production software at a SaaS company for 3+ years, shipped your own web app, or you’ve done implementations / solutions / IT engineering work and can hold your own in a real codebase.
- You’re great with customers. You can run a security architecture review with a bank CISO at 9am and pair with an admin on a config issue at 2pm without breaking stride.
- You’re comfortable with ~25% travel: onsite implementations, customer visits, and the occasional conference.
- You can debug across the stack: frontend, backend, and the integration layer where most customer issues actually live.
- You can go from ticket to PR in TypeScript/Node, Python, and modern cloud infra (we’re on AWS).
- You write clearly. Async, written and video communication is how Warrant operates.
Bonus Points
- IT background — IT ops, solutions engineering, or implementations at an enterprise SaaS company. You speak SSO, SCIM, SAML, Active Directory, and corporate IT politics fluently.
- Direct experience with compliance, marketing tech, DAM, or workflow/approval products.
- You’ve implemented software at banks, credit unions, or insurers and know the rhythms of regulated buyers.
- Experience with LLM-based features in production: retrieval, evals, prompting.
- You’ve been an early hire at a seed or Series A startup.
- You’re already in or willing to relocate to the Triangle, we’re building our team here.
