This job is for compliance people who are tired of being the department of no.You've spent years inside a bank, credit union, or fintech reviewing marketing materials, citing Reg Z and UDAAP, chasing marketing teams for disclosures, and watching campaigns sit in your queue for weeks. You know the work matters. You also know most of it could be systematized, and that the person who systematizes it will build something bigger than a review queue. That person is who we're hiring.
Every company in America has a marketing compliance problem. They just don't know it yet. Billion-dollar brands are getting sued, fined, and shut down because a landing page had the wrong disclaimer. A social post missed a disclosure. An influencer went off-script. The legal review process is broken: weeks of back-and-forth, bottlenecked by overworked compliance teams, while competitors ship faster.
Warrant is the first AI agent for marketing compliance. We give financial services, insurance, consumer goods, and real estate companies instant compliance feedback so they can launch faster, stay audit-ready, and never get caught off guard. We're backed by Brickyard, The Legal Tech Fund, Capitalize VC, Techstars, and Vast Ventures, alongside operators from Brex, Slope, and Mercury.
We're not building a feature. We're building the category.
The DealYou will stand up Warrant's AI Marketing Compliance Services offering from zero. Not join it. Build it. Done-for-you marketing compliance review, delivered on top of our AI platform: you and our agents own the customer's review queue end to end, with SLAs, rule-cited decisions, and exam-ready documentation. It's the compliance function you've always run, rebuilt as a product, with you as employee one of the whole line.
You'll define what the service is, deliver it to the first customers yourself, and turn what you learn into playbooks, rule libraries, and AI workflows that let one expert do the work of a review team. You'll sit next to the CEO five days a week and see every decision that goes into building a company: pricing, fundraising, hiring, product, positioning. Nothing is hidden from you.
In two to three years, one of two things happens. You're running a compliance services division at a company that defined its category. Or you've become the name in AI marketing compliance: the person banks call, the one on conference panels, the expert every regulator-facing team wants to hire, with equity and a network no bank promotion can match. We're good with either. That's the trade, and we're making it explicit because the right person will recognize it instantly.
We know what we're asking you to leave. That's why we'll be direct about what you're joining: we're venture-backed, we have paying customers, and this service line is being built because customers are asking for it, not as an experiment.
This is not a 9 to 5. We routinely put in 9+ hour days, in the office, five days a week.
What You'll Actually Be DoingRunning the reviews. Pre-publication review of customer marketing: ads, emails, landing pages, social, SMS. First pass runs through Warrant's AI; you handle edge cases, document rationale, and make the call. Every decision cited to the rule, timestamped, and audit-ready. Our reviews are advisory and fully documented: the customer's compliance function retains final authority, and every recommendation carries its rationale and citations, so you're building a defensible record, not absorbing their regulatory exposure. You are the human in the loop, and the loop gets tighter every month because you tighten it.
Owning the customer. Onboarding from signature to first value: policy setup, rule library configuration, training their marketing and compliance teams, check-ins with compliance officers and GCs. Renewals, expansions, and referrals are yours to win or lose. You'll speak to regulated buyers as a peer, because you were one.
Building the service line. Turnaround SLAs, intake workflows, health scoring, escalation criteria, quarterly audit packages, exam-prep documentation. None of it exists yet. You'll define the offering, price it with the CEO, standardize it so it scales, and hire and train the specialists who inherit what you built.
Making the AI smarter. Every edge case you resolve becomes a rule, a prompt, a check the platform runs automatically next time. You'll work directly with the product team so that the service you deliver by hand in month one is 80% automated by month twelve. That ratchet is the whole business model.
Shaping the company. You'll know our customers' regulators, exam cycles, and pain better than anyone in the building. What you hear will change what we build, how we price it, and who we sell to next.
Who We're Looking For- You have 3-7 years in compliance at a bank, credit union, or fintech. You've reviewed marketing materials against Reg Z, UDAAP, TILA, fair lending, FDCPA, or state advertising rules, and you can explain a finding to a marketer without making an enemy.
- You've felt the pain firsthand. You've been the bottleneck, or reported to it, and you have opinions about how the review process should actually work.
- You want to build, not administer. Standing up a function from zero, with no playbook and no cover, excites you more than it scares you.
- You can carry a customer relationship. Compliance officers and GCs are cautious, precise, and skeptical. You can earn their trust because you speak their language natively.
- You're eager to become "AI-native." You don't need to be a power user today; you need to see AI as the thing that finally makes compliance scale, not a threat to your job, and be hungry to make it your default tool. We'll teach you the rest.
- Bonus points for: CRCM or similar certification, exam management experience (NCUA, OCC, FDIC, CFPB, or state), time at a startup or a failed one (seriously), or having built a compliance program from scratch before.
- $80,000-$110,000 base plus equity. Real ownership in a category-creating company.
- A founder apprenticeship: direct access to the CEO, investors, and every decision that builds a company from zero.
- Immediate ownership of an entire business line, a steep learning curve, and a front-row seat to how a category gets created.
- An exit from the bank career ladder that uses everything the bank taught you.
Don't apply. Pitch. Find a real marketing email, ad, or landing page from a bank, credit union, or fintech that you'd flag, and send Austin Carroll, our CEO, a short note: what you'd flag, which rule applies, and how you'd fix it without killing the campaign. Twenty minutes of work that shows us exactly how you think. Cold outreach expected; if you also want to tell us how you'd build the service, even better.
