Growth Pillar is an innovative and holistic entity providing technical assistance to families, businesses, and social service institutions to foster sustainable development and build both individual and community resilience to environmental, systems and technological change in Malawi and beyond.

Role: Social Media & Graphic Design Volunteer.

Role Description:

• Identify target audiences and being up to date with current trends.
• Help develop a social media strategy, implementation plan and posting calendar
• Establish and/or maintain active social media accounts.
• Plan and schedule social media content
• Research and create creative content for different social media channels.
• Ensure that there are regular post and content daily with current and relevant photos, video, or other content from activities, events and other marketing or promotional posts.
• Identify innovative ways to drive online engagement.
• Moderate online discussion groups
• Performs research to find articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our community and posts it to our Facebook page in a manner that invites conversation and interaction.
• Devise other campaigns for expanding likes, followers and reach
• Track the effectiveness of campaigns
• Monitor social media for likes, comments, notifications etc., and respond appropriately or inform relevant departments
• Review data on the performance of social media platforms and adjusts plans or strategies to optimize reach.
• Lead or assist with other social media projects that arise

Time Commitment: Volunteer 4-6 hours per week for 6+ months remotely 💻
