Support a startup providing trauma survivors with free support ❤️

The 1st 28 Foundation provides trauma survivors with free guided journaling resources and empowerment programs to support their healing and personal growth.

The 1st 28 Foundation bridges the gap in trauma recovery by providing free guided journaling tools and empowerment programs to sexual assault survivors—and all trauma survivors—particularly those in underserved communities. By making healing resources more accessible, we work to reduce inequalities in mental health support and self-recovery opportunities.

Role (Volunteer): Grant Research & Fundraising Volunteer.

Role Description: Do you want to help trauma survivors get the funding and resources they need to heal? If you have a passion for research, fundraising, or writing, this is your chance to make a real impact. The 1st 28 Foundation is looking for a Grant Research & Fundraising Volunteer to help us find funding opportunities that will allow us to expand our programs and reach more survivors.

Why This Role Matters

Right now, many survivors don’t have access to the tools they need to heal. The 1st 28 Foundation provides free journals, digital resources, and empowerment programs to trauma survivors, but we need funding to grow. ✅ Someone who loves finding opportunities and making connections

✅ Passion for mental health, trauma recovery, and nonprofit work

✅ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

✅ Experience with Google Docs, Excel, or fundraising platforms (helpful but not required)

Estimated Time Commitment

🕒 5-10 hours per week (flexible, remote)
