Optivide: We support people in solving the climate problem with financial confidence.

Without finance, climate action is unsustainable. Most of us agree that climate change is a human-made crisis.

It is a growing, urgent global problem that will increase the number of irreversible disasters if we don’t take action now.

Accordingly, many ecosystem stakeholders propose different solutions to solve the problem. Despite the hard work, our current progress is not fast enough to limit the temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius.

At Optivide, we aim to solve the climate problem with a systemic solution.

System thinking supports us in understanding the dynamic complex situation and multi-solving the problem at scale in time with limited resources.

In our mobile app, our users can:

• Set their 5-10-year sustainability and financial goals
• Review their sustainability impacts and financials
• Customize sustainability practices while planning finance

The solution will help them better realize the positive and negative impacts of climate change on their personal goals(retirements, real estate, college tuition) and learn how they could increase their goal success rate by taking sustainability action in their daily lives.

Role (Volunteer): Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Role Description: This is a part-time remote role for a CTO who executes with coding and pays the monthly business operational expenses together with other founders. You will contribute substantially of your time on the following fields:

1. Build up the Company’s mobile product and service with sustainability design.
2. Conduct all sustainable generative artificial intelligence-related work with software monitoring
3. Ensure the company’s products and services with robust security practices.
4. Identify and mitigate technology-related risks from system failures.
5. Lead the cross-team collaboration with data insights and quarterly improvement plan
6. Implement the Company’s technology strategy with scalability potential.
7. Develop standard operating procedure guidance for all the responsibilities on Notion workspace.
8. Work diligently on all other business aspects reasonably required to achieve the Company's long-term success.

• Software Toolkit: Notion, Firebase, Docker and Github, Voiceflow, Civic ID/Civic Auth, Rows, Supabase/MongoDB/Firebase
• Required Language: JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, Node.js with Express, PostgreSQL,NoSQL Query Languages, GraphQL, Dockerfile & YAML, JSON, MCP, and Python.
• LinkedIn Promotion Requirements: 7 Posts/Month, Personal/Business Mix Depends on The Needs

The experience and knowledge above will help us build our first minimal viable product. As our startup evolves, you will cooperate with the core founder team to work on green mobile app full stack development, user authentication, backend database, cyber security policy, green IT infrastructure development, API/SDK integration & automation, Model Context Protocol(MCP),privacy protection, quality assurance, quality control, product development, project management, feature prioritization, software architecture, quality assurance, software reliability testing, and fintech regulation.

Time Commitment: Volunteer 10+ hours per week for 6+ months remotely 💻
