Since launching our platform 5 years ago, we have built a community of over 40,000 ChangeMakers supercharging our more than 1500 impact startups across the world. We have launched over 500 successful projects that ChangeMakers from across the world have supported.

We are a 100% virtual company so all positions can be carried out remotely. All of our team is mainly powered by volunteers and you will be joining a diverse team based in different countries. You will be supervised by the COO.

Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic volunteer Airtable Developer to join our team part time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Airtable development and a passion for creating efficient, user-friendly solutions that empower our ChangeMakers, Startups and Clients. We are looking for someone to own our Airtable backend and we hope to turn this volunteer role into a paid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise Airtable functions and automations.
• Collaborate with COO to understand project needs and translate them into functional Airtable solutions that work for our front-end, Softr.
• Update customised workflows, dashboards, and reports using Airtable's features.
• Provide recommendations and best practices for streamlining project management processes using Airtable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Airtable configurations and usability.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Airtable bases.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Airtable features and industry trends to continuously improve our Airtable setup.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Airtable development.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Proficiency in Airtable scripting and automation.
• Experience with integrating Airtable with other tools and APIs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Softr is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is desirable but not essential.
