Volunteer for a startup redefining the future of work for displaced talent! 💻

EqualReach connects businesses with skilled displaced and local talent for remote, impact-driven project work, bridging the gap between global demand and underserved professional communities.

Forcibly displaced individuals often face a "digital divide" where local job opportunities are scarce and barriers to the global digital economy are high. Despite having valuable skills, many refugees remain excluded from meaningful employment due to a lack of professional networks, institutional trust, and dedicated intermediaries to connect them with global businesses. This exclusion traps world-class talent in a cycle of underemployment and limits the economic potential of both the individuals and the organizations that need their expertise.

EqualReach is a research-backed, impact-sourcing platform that functions as a specialized freelancing marketplace, connecting the private sector with skilled displaced professionals for high-quality, remote work. Originally piloted as an impact-sourcing solution for a Fortune 5 company, our platform acts as the essential bridge that allows organizations to "source impactfully" without sacrificing excellence. In our first year alone, we created over 100 job opportunities across 10 countries, delivering meaningful project-based work for businesses in the UK, US, and EU. By refining the way talent is discovered and managed, we are proving that social impact and business excellence go hand-in-hand, creating a scalable model where inclusive hiring becomes a primary driver of global economic growth.

  • A design style that feels professional, optimistic, and aligned with EqualReach’s mission.
  • Clear use of typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy to make the report easy to understand.
  • Support with presenting data, highlights, and key messages in a visually appealing way.

What We’re Looking For

  • A volunteer designer with experience in report, editorial, brochure, or publication design.
  • Someone who enjoys storytelling through design.
  • A thoughtful eye for readability, accessibility, and polish.

What You’ll Receive

  • A meaningful volunteer project with a social impact organisation.
  • A collaborative and appreciative working relationship with our team.

Deliverable
