The Challenge: Millions of children worldwide are falling behind global literacy standards due to a rigid, one-size-fits-all educational approach that fails to engage young minds. This literacy gap is especially severe for neurodivergent learners and multilingual families who lack accessible, tailored academic support. Compounding this issue is the rise of passive digital entertainment, which reduces attention spans and erodes reading comprehension. Overwhelmed parents and educators are left without safe, scalable tools capable of adapting to a child’s distinct learning style, leading to early academic frustration and diminished confidence in traditional learning environments.
The Solution: StoryMii resolves this literacy crisis by turning passive screen time into an active, AI-powered storytelling experience. Rather than relying on static books, our platform dynamically generates personalized stories tailored to each child's specific reading level and personal interests, allowing them to co-create characters and shape plotlines. To reinforce learning in real time, the platform embeds interactive vocabulary development, pronunciation support, and comprehension tools. Designed from the ground up to be inclusive, multilingual, and entirely ad-free, StoryMii easily accommodates neurodivergent learners and diverse families, transforming reading into a deeply engaging journey that builds confident thinkers and creative storytellers.
Role (Volunteer, unpaid): Growth Marketing Manager
Role Description: We are looking for a dynamic, data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to help us scale our reach, navigate our digital ad ecosystems, and optimize our organic discoverability. If you live and breathe user acquisition, performance marketing, and search optimization, this is your chance to lead a comprehensive growth strategy from the ground up.
In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons; you will be our strategic compass—helping us understand where to allocate our focus, how to interpret our ad data, and how to position us for long-term organic success across web and app stores.
What You’ll Do:
- Paid Ads Architecture: Help design, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, Apple Search Ads, and Google iOS App Ads.
- SEO Strategy: Conduct keyword research and outline a strategy to boost our organic visibility on Google.
- Analytics & Insight: Turn raw dashboard data from our ad accounts into clear, actionable insights so the team knows exactly what is working and why.
- A/B Testing: Advise on creative assets, copy variations, and targeting adjustments to improve click-through rates and drive down acquisition costs.
- Tracking & Attribution: Help ensure our pixels, conversion tracking, and app event tracking are properly set up across channels.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience or strong working knowledge in paid acquisition channels (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads).
- Solid foundational understanding of SEO best practices (on-page optimization, keyword strategy, technical SEO basics).
- Comfort with mobile app tracking concepts (or a strong desire to master them).
- An analytical mindset—you enjoy looking at a spreadsheet or dashboard and finding the "story" behind the numbers.
- Ability to commit roughly 4-6 hours per week remotely.
