Who We Are
WellMiss is a virtual clinic platform that provides comprehensive holistic and integrative care for women on their trauma healing and wellbeing journey. We provide her telehealth appts with our practitioners, community care masterclasses, and a peer-supported community. Through our collaborative and integrated approach, our practitioners work together to provide both trauma and preventive care to each of our WellMiss. Our business model combines an ongoing subscription with insurance-based billing for certain services. Our approach is rooted in caring for the whole person, mind, body, and soul. Finally, a place she can go where all her trauma healing care and wellbeing needs are met.

We are a venture-backed startup building the future of holistic and integrative care, starting with trauma.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a lead software engineer to collaboratively execute WellMiss's web app product vision. As an early-stage startup, we're looking for someone excited about the opportunity to own and define our tech stack, engineering culture, team, and best practices.

Responsibilities
Execute upon the technical direction for WellMiss's initial web app
Build scalable and secure systems, and employ quality assurance to deliver an inclusive user experience
Own relationships with development partners

Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer for web applications with mobile application experience being a plus
Experience building web-first products with end-to-end ownership of feature and infrastructure development (Preferred, not necessary. If you've done this in a hackathon, we'd love to learn more!)
Experience working with a JavaScript frontend framework such as React or equivalent
Experiences in API integrations
Exemplary communication and teamwork skills; able to explain solutions to non-technical team
Desire to be an early teammate and build systems from the ground up
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously under ambiguity.
Passionate about improving healthcare and creating solutions for equitable holistic and integrative health and wellness care.

Nice to Have
Ability to work within AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Experience working within the privacy and regulatory constraints with health or government data, i.e., HIPAA regulations and compliance
Experience working at a digital health startup

Location
Remote
Our team is based in Atlanta, GA but embraces remote work.

Compensation
The role will be contracted, competitive pay per project, and an opportunity to come on full-time.
