JOB DESCRIPTION: WeStock is a well funded and growing startup looking for our first operations hire. We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be one of the key decision-makers at WeStock and work directly with the executive team to architect the internal systems of the company.

The Director of Operations will have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader.

The goal of the Director of Operations position is to secure the functionality of the business and to drive extensive and sustainable growth. We are looking for someone who has a background in either CPG, retail, or software for this position. We are open to candidates that have worked for startups or established companies and want to join our growing team.

LOCATION: Remote/ NY/NJ Area Preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company
Create a clear plan for our retail operations and workflow of our territory team
Work closely with our product manager and CTO to make sure we are hitting our product milestones

JOB REQUIREMENTS

3-5+ years of operations experience in either software, retail, or CPG
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with software development life cycle and the ability to work with development teams
Interest in working at a small startup and putting your stamp on our company
Competitive in your approach and a self-starter
