Who are you?

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the CPG industry, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective strategies to expand our customer base and enhance our market presence.

We require a BDM who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, can solve problems and think on their feet, is self-motivated, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting, and taking ownership of improvement. What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Grow revenue via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing enterprise client accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
  • Collaborate with the SDR role to manage prospective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Negotiate with prospects and accounts to successfully close deals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the solution meets customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement a sales model and support agreement for new customers.
  • Make synergy with the Sales, Marketing, Finance Executives, reporting to the Sales Department.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with revenue deadlines.
  • Work to constantly improve standard sales practices, workflows, and systems to scale the business and ensure customers and potential partners receive the best possible experience.

What You Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development management, sales, or as an account executive in the CPG industry.
  • Desirable: You have a client portfolio in the CPG industry that will help us meet our sales goals.
  • Flexibility and availability to travel and visit potential clients.
  • Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, etc.
