Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Engineer located in New York, NY (healthcare startup). The Product Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our product features. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the product meets usability and performance standards. The role also involves conducting technical research, implementing best practices for development, and continuously improving the product based on user feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in product design, development, and maintenance (healthcare domain)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Deploy and manage serverless infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, etc.)
• Curious and proactive — especially around LLMs and GenAI as tools and product features
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
• Strong understanding of healthcare data compliance (HIPPA)
• Proficiency in conducting technical research and implementing best practices
• Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with machine learning and GenAI technologies is a must

Compensation: $130K–$150K USD (higher for exceptional candidates with 12–15+ years of experience)
