To do that, Zeno is developing a next-generation radioisotope power system (RPS) that generates carbon-free, resilient power for decades, utilizing material found in nuclear waste. Operations Coordinator/Executive Assistant

Zeno is excited to seek a highly motivated Operations Coordinator/Executive Assistant for our Washington, DC office to support our Executive Team and DC team.

Office Management/Operations Coordination

  • Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a positive and inviting atmosphere.
  • Manage and replenish office supplies to maintain seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Develop and implement operational processes ;and best practices.
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and events in office and externally.
  • Liaise with COO and People and Culture team to organize and execute corporate events.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and other action items for the executive team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in office management, administration, or principal management
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge of business management principles, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
  • Experience in a start-up environment a plus

Job Functions

  • Position requires in-office presence in Washington, D.C. (Mt. Vernon/Chinatown) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Motor Abilities: Sitting/standing for extended periods, gripping, fine motor control (hands)
  • Physical requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 15 pounds
  • Special Senses: Visual and audio
  • Work Conditions: Typing, standing/sitting working environment of >8 hr/day
  • Travel: Travel is required, 0-10%

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary band for this position is $55,000-$95,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
