This job is not easy - nothing is a plug and play model. Each role is slightly different - we hire for new teams in new markets with dynamic timelines and hiring plans that haven’t been tested before. You will be the person not only to identify and recruit talent, but also the person that gives pushback to hiring teams on timelines, compensation frameworks, level of hire, and team structure. This role requires someone that has excellent project management, stakeholder management, and a knack for leading with authenticity.

What You'll Do
- Partner with the business across Africa to recruit and close the best talent out there who share our mission
- Serve as a thought partner for our hiring managers to help them understand key information around talent pool, advertising strategy, interview plan, and more for new and recurring openings
- Monitor important data insights across the entire recruiting funnel, from sourcing to close, and continuously adjust based on insights
- Build and improve upon existing processes to ensure our recruiting processes are effective and efficient
- Strategically plan and own a pipeline of diverse, exceptionally qualified candidates and ensure a first-class experience throughout the entire process
- Help to ensure that Zipline is prioritizing diversity in all of our hiring efforts across the company
- Creatively leverage various platforms to source and engage extraordinary talent

What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of high-volume, full lifecycle recruiting experience
- Bonus: Experience with software recruiting
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing exceptional operational and/or technical talent
- Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced startup environment
- Passion for building diverse teams & pipelines
- Creative problem-solver, going the extra mile to close the top talent and passionate about cultivating the most enjoyable candidate experience
- Willingness to invest in your own growth and become a true partner to our hiring teams
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in tracking recruiting metrics to create data-driven strategies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Bonus: Fluency in written and spoken French
- Bonus: Experience with Greenhouse, GEM, & Excel
