About You and The Role

The Application Software team is responsible for the operating system of Zipline – we develop and maintain the critical applications that power the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and service of our drone delivery system. We support systems across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, maintenance, and other operational teams to ensure our tools scale with the needs of the business.

We are looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems Analyst to support and maintain our suite of engineering tools, including Teamcenter, NX, StarCCM+, and other Siemens applications. In this role, you will ensure system reliability, manage configurations, oversee user administration, and drive day-to-day operational support. You will field and resolve L1/L2 support tickets, partner with Siemens on escalations, maintain documentation, and help optimize the user experience for engineering and operations teams.

We are seeking an intelligent, resourceful, proactive, and collaborative individual who enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to contribute to a mission with real-world impact. You will take ownership of issues end-to-end, partnering closely with engineers, IT, and external vendors to maintain stable, secure, and efficient engineering systems. Your focus on improving our experience with Siemens tools will drive system stability, reduce time to resolution on key issues, minimize disruptions, and enable users to stay productive.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for Teamcenter, NX, StarCCM+, and related Siemens engineering tools
  • Own L1 and L2 PLM support, including user access, troubleshooting, and system configuration issues, with a focus on identifying and reducing recurring problems
  • Partner with Siemens and internal IT to resolve escalated issues, track progress, and drive to timely resolutions
  • Support system configuration, environment management, and routine maintenance activities
  • Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and system updates to build scalable, repeatable workflows
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and release cycles, including testing, validation, and user coordination, to ensure minimal disruption to engineering teams
  • Work directly with engineers to understand how tools are used, identify gaps and pain points, and propose and implement improvements to increase usability and reliability
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between Teamcenter and other engineering and enterprise systems
  • Support onboarding processes for new users, including system access and tool training

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting Siemens PLM or related engineering tools (Teamcenter, NX, StarCCM+, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts, CAD/CAE workflows, and engineering toolchains
  • Experience providing L1/L2 technical support, including diagnosing system, user, and integration issues
  • Hands-on experience with system administration: access control, configuration, upgrades, and environment management in cloud-based systems
  • Experience coordinating with vendors (ideally Siemens) for issue resolution
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot across multiple systems and contexts
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Operations teams to deliver reliable solutions
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a desire to build and maintain high-quality systems that scale with the company’s growth
