About You and The Role

Zipline is seeking Field Service + Construction Support Technicians who have sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills and high standards. Success will require attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and commission ground systems installations at new and existing Zipline sites.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades with the goal of maximizing uptime and reliability.
• Work with engineering & cross-functional teams to document and resolve tickets.
• Manage accountability programs for tools, calibration equipment, and vehicles
• Maintain records of installations, surveys, maintenance actions, and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, electrical standards, published manuals and SOPs.
• Successfully complete and continuously maintain all required training(s) and certifications.

What You'll Bring

Basic Qualifications

• Basic knowledge: mechanical, electrical, and basic office software
• Attention to detail and compliance with installation standards and manuals
• Organizational skills, inventory management, material handling equipment, Mechanical/Electrical assembly experience
• Must be able to support shift work including, but not limited to days/evenings, weekends, etc. with travel up to 20%, as necessary
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.and have a valid US Driver's License
• Ability to lift and or move up to 55 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Desired knowledge:General construction, Electrical and Electrical Systems (to include network/low voltage)
• Familiarity with material handling equipment (warehouse forklift, pallet jack)
• Adaptability to changing work environments, technologies, and procedures
• Ability to diagnose problems, develop and implement novel fixes to time-sensitive problems.
• Ability to read / interpret construction and technical drawings
• Familiarity with material handling equipment and/or aerial lifts (warehouse forklift, pallet jack, scissor lifts)
