We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Manager, Sales to play a critical role in growing the company's footprint in collegiate athletics. This role will be a talent steward responsible for leading a team of highly proficient account executives. In this role, you will reinforce our sales processes and procedures in prospecting, qualifying, forecasting, and closing business, all while maintaining our team-first culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of product-expert Account Executives focused on the collegiate athletic market, driving strategies for sales success.

  • Provide accurate reporting on sales activities and forecast future sales.

  • Consistently monitor the team's sales activity, tracking results and ensuring alignment with sales objectives.

  • Actively lead and monitor demand-generation activities to drive customer engagement and awareness.

  • Lead initiatives aimed at increasing customer awareness and engagement.

  • Develop and implement successful sales campaigns.

  • Assist the team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customer needs and effectively mapping them to the value of our teamwork product.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics such as activity, pipelines, monthly forecasts, and closed deals to ensure quota attainment.

  • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting while also identifying areas for improvement in process, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Lead the team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.

  • Participate in the hiring and interviewing process and contribute to the training and onboarding of new team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Background leading Account Executives and creating high-performing teams.

  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills to effectively communicate sales strategies and value propositions.

  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in selling to the collegiate athletic market or similar segments.

  • Experience with large enterprise deals and selling at a C-suite level.

  • History of:

  • Selling on business value and communicating product benefits beyond a list of features proactively manage deal cycles to set up each stage for success, creating an operational model for our upmarket segment.

  • Identifying opportunities for success and creatively working through challenges to drive sales results.

  • Ability to attract, manage, and develop talent within the sales team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience serving within the elite athletics market.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce with demonstrated expertise in leveraging Salesforce to optimize sales processes, analyze data, and drive revenue growth.
