We are looking for a resourceful, customer-centric Account Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, you will be crucial in managing and optimizing our accounts receivable processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about contributing to the financial health of a high-growth company.

Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
Address and resolve customer inquiries related to invoices and payments promptly and professionally.
Manage the collection process, including follow-ups on overdue accounts and negotiation of payment plans.
Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Develop and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and payment history.
Serve as the internal point of contact for sales and customer success teams on billing and order-related matters.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Analyze overdue receivables to determine collectability and recommend necessary allowances.
Perform regular account reconciliations and generate aging reports.
Ensure invoices are processed and recognized according to company policies and accounting standards.
Identify and propose improvements within the accounts receivable function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations related to accounts receivable.
Execute additional tasks as required to support business decisions and operational needs.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting, familiarity with subscription billing and revenue recognition, preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (Salesforce and Sage Intacct preferred).
Advanced skills in Excel.
Proven track record of accuracy and thoroughness in financial record-keeping.
