What are we looking for?
We are looking for a junior full stack developer reporting to the CTO who will help build our investment feature, improve our current product, and who will become one of the first joiners of a fintech early-stage startup.
What will you be doing?
Build the backend of Zumma’s goal-oriented investment feature
Help improve our financial planning product (frontend and backend)
Help improve our reward system (frontend and backend)
Build new products inside and outside our current platform
Who are you?
Key Qualifications
Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS (RDS Postgres, CloudWatch, Amplify, Lambda) and GCP (Cloud Run).
Programming Languages: Comfort with JavaScript and Python.
Mobile Development: Experience or interest in React Native for building apps on iOS and Android.
Testing: Exposure to TDD, unit testing, integration testing, and e2e testing with frameworks like Wix Detox.
CI/CD: Understanding of GitOps and experience with GitHub Actions for continuous integration and deployment.
Technologies:
Experience or strong interest in serverless and microservice architectures.
Knowledge or willingness to learn about GPT, including prompt design, and OCR technologies.
Experience with or openness to learning React Native/Expo, Serverless framework, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Cloud Run.
Bonus Points
Having experience with prompt engineering is a plus but not required.
Eagerness to delve into the AI field, particularly with technologies like GPT.
You want to learn and grow with an early-stage company
You want to make an impact in the world
You are passionate about making consumer products people love
Preferably but not required:
Experience in tech start-ups, ideally fintech
Fluent in Spanish and English
