COMMERCIAL GROWTH ASSOCIATE — Job Description — Maris Dae (Better Basics Eco Lifestyle Company Inc.). Vancouver, BC | Full-Time | Remote | Entry-Level (New Graduate). Role Overview: Highly entrepreneurial role helping build the future of wellness products rooted in the science of seaweed. Supports commercialization and growth across DTC, retail, wholesale, and community channels. Works cross-functionally across marketing, sales, product development, and operations to execute growth initiatives, support product launches, manage channel performance tracking, and build scalable systems. Culture is creative, supportive, and focused on natural health. Position funded through the Youth Employment Grant; must be a recent graduate under 30, Canadian resident. Key Responsibilities: 1) Direct-to-Consumer Growth Support: monitor/report weekly Shopify metrics (revenue, AOV, conversion, retention); support landing page updates, bundle creation, merchandising optimization; assist with Klaviyo email flows and lifecycle marketing; track affiliate/referral codes and digital campaign performance; maintain dashboards for ROAS, CAC, and retention. 2) Wholesale & Retail Commercialization: support retailer outreach and follow-ups; manage/update Faire shop; assist with pitch decks, sell sheets, order forms; track wholesale orders and sell-through; coordinate trade show prep and follow-ups; support onboarding of new retail/hospitality accounts. 3) Community & Experiential Growth: coordinate influencer/micro-creator gifting; assist with wellness events, partnerships, in-person activations; track community partnerships and ambassador initiatives; support content/UGC collection; assist with organic social content creation/posting. 4) Product Launch & Project Management: support timelines for new SKUs with production/packaging partners; maintain launch checklists and commercialization readiness; execute product testing program and manage R&D cycles; support development of packaging materials and product messaging. Start Date: June 8, 2026 – December 8, 2026. Compensation: Salary range $25,000–$30,000; 6-month project with room for growth and extension. Qualifications: Recent post-secondary graduate (within 1–3 years) in Business/Commerce/Marketing/Entrepreneurship or related; strong analytical skills and spreadsheet proficiency; high attention to detail and organization; interest in consumer brands, wellness, retail, or e-commerce; self-starter comfortable in fast-paced startup; strong written/verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; grant-funded requirements: resident of Canada, legally able to work (PR or refugee status), not receiving EI, aged 19–30. Bonus: Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, Google Ads/Analytics or basic digital analytics; creating social or written content; retail/brand ambassador/event support; interest in wellness/natural products/sustainability; experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, etc.) for research, writing, data analysis, or automation.
